Interested in the Catholic Faith > to become a Catholic one goes through a period of instructions called R.C.I.A. ( Rite of Christian Intiation of Adults ). A group/team approach is used, beginning in September and meeting weekly until Easter. For more information see our Ministries Page.

       Looking for family records - point to our archivist- - - -

    St. Augustine’s records of baptism, marriage, and death go back to 1827. The old books are now too frail for handling. To meet this challenge we transposed all the records up to 1944 into a computer database, (well over 10,000 individual records). Our archivist and historian Andy Burghardt together with a team of typist worked for well over a year to complete the work. If you are searching your family tree email us with their names and variant spellings and we will have a search. We gratefully accept donations to help off set the cost to build and maintain our data base.
